Team Manager & Coaches Important Information

 

Schedules

  • Schedules are available online after May 1st – select your division from above and then access Schedule in the left menu
  • Always check the website for schedule updates and last minute changes. If in doubt, the website will always have the correct version of the schedule.
  • Remember, your first game will be Friday morning and your last game possibly as late as 8pm Sunday evening

 

Rosters

  • Please complete rosters online ASAP! If you have any trouble updating your roster or need help with your account, email or call us.
  • Maximum skaters 18, Goalies 3, 21 TOTAL. All 3 goalies can dress. Deadline for changes is 5:00pm on May 16, 2019

Tournament Check-in

  • You team manager or coach needs to check-in at least 1 hour before your first game at the tournament desk.
  • When checking in, no player will be able to go onto the ice unless we have received and checked:
    • Government ID
    • Proof of Insurance
    • Signed Waivers
    • All players must be properly registered and entered in your roster online before the tournament

 

Game Check-in

  • You team manager or coach needs to check-in at least 30 minutes before each game at the tournament desk to complete the following on a scoresheet
    • Confirm roster and strike any players not skating
    • Circle starting goalie
    • Add coaches who will be behind the bench
    • Sign the scoresheet
  • After the game, team manager or coach can collect a copy of the scoresheet. When collecting the scoresheet the team manager or coach may adjust points if desired and will then sign the copy of the scoresheet

 

Game Format

  • Every game starts with a clean sheet of ice
  • 5 minute warm-up
    • Limited number of pucks are available on request, but we recommend teams bring their own
  • Period 1 – 20 minutes running time
    • 2 minute penalty becomes 3 minutes
    • 5 minute penalty becomes 7 minutes
  • Period 2 – 20 minutes stop time
  • Ice Clean
  • Period 3 – 20 minutes stop time

 

  • 5 Puck will be played after all round robin games only if games complete within their assigned ice time
    • 5 mins will be added to the clock with 5 pucks placed on the blue line at each end. Each team uses all players in succession until all 5 pucks are gone or time runs out.

 

Rules & Regulations

  • Please read through the rules and regulations posted online (select a division from above and then Rules and Regulations from the left menu)
  • Body checking is permitted at the Peewee Major (2006) and older divisions
  • No body checking with any girl’s divisions

 

Skills Competition

  • Peewee Major (2006) and younger divisions
  • Each team is allowed one player per skill (unless otherwise advised)
  • Teams can register players online: TBA
  • Teams can also complete registration using the handout provided in managers packs during the tournament check-in

 

Online Manager Presentations

  • An online presentation will be held one week prior to the event. Exact details will be provided at a later date. 
  • This presentation will go over the information on this page in more detail and will also include time for Q&A
